Free Rehearsal Space for DUO Clients & CADA/East Members
Launched as a pilot project in September 2014, Dance Umbrella of Ontario clients and CADA/East (formerly known as CADA-ON) professional and emerging artist members now have access to free evening studio space at Canada’s National Ballet School, 400 Jarvis Street, Toronto, Ontario.
Between the hours of 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday – Friday, clients and members can book rehearsals through the joint agreement made between the National Ballet School, the Dance Umbrella of Ontario, and CADA/East.
Please note that free space is available exclusively during the above-listed hours and is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rent Gear with DanceMakers
Dancemakers own equipment that is available for our communities to rent -
They currently have:
– 4 rolls of Marley dance floor (each 6.6ft wide x 40ft long) – grey on one side and black on the other
– 1 Christie Projector (D12HD-H 12K projector, single DLP c/w One Mount system w 1.5-2.0 zoom lens)
The daily rate for each item is:
– $50.00/day* per item
+$500 damage deposit (which is waived if you provide proof of insurance)
*Dance Umbrella of Ontario Clients receive a 50% discount
Gear is stored at the Dancemakers and Dance Umbrella of Ontario offices (410 Jarvis Street)
NOTE: Gear is located on the first floor of a building which has steps to the main door. You will need to lift them up and down the steps to get them in and out of the building
