Repertoire
The Company has a very extensive repertoire of solo and group works in traditional-classical and creative styles, which is being constantly enlarged. Since 1993, the visionary Artistic Director, Janak Khendry, has created twenty-seven works for the Company’s repertoire. Eighteen works are of traditional Bharata Natyam repertoire, from fifteen minutes to forty-five minutes in length. Nine major creative works of outstanding quality, based on the most unusual themes, range from thirty minutes to three hours in length.
The Company has received commissions from the Los Angeles Museum of Art, the University of Western Ontario, and the University of Toronto, among others.
