FROG IN HAND opens BLOCK PARTY tonight @ Dancemakers!

It’s a great week for dance in Toronto, with openings nearly every night this week.  Tonight, DUO clients, Frog in Hand open BLOCK PARTY for a three-night run at Dancemakers.

Performing rhythmic, audacious movement inspired by the geometry of the blocks,  BLOCK PARTY invites a live DJ and five of Toronto’s most acclaimed dance artists to engage in imagination, play and creativity by manipulating wooden blocks and animating the space. These blocks are various sizes, like childhood toys redesigned to fit an adult scale and aesthetic.

The space will remain alive as a post-show environment, transforming into a collaboration where the audience will be encouraged to interact, create and party with the blocks.

Join Frog in Hand for after parties following the performance – cookies and milk will be served on the 2nd and 3rd. A licensed event with beer and wine will be offered on Saturday, November 4th.
