A message from our friends at TORONTO DANCE LOVE-IN – who make their curatorial debut at PROGRESS this week – just in time for Valentine’s Day! (ps:  they’re presenting a show and hosting a late-night party)

“Our 2018 is already packed with LOVE – join us at minor matter and at the Progress Late Night that we’re collaboratively hosting Sat Feb 17 11pm to late and share in our independent badass dance mayhem!

In minor matter, two apparatuses are at play—blackness and the spectacle. This is the second work by Dominican-born Ligia Lewis from her trilogy,  BLUE, RED, WHITE. Three dancers push against the boundaries of the stage, while illustrating a humble relationship between their bodies and the space that encapsulates it.

We cannot wait to share this incredible performance with you Toronto: our friends, loves, community. Just four days remain until opens, our curatorial debut at Progress Festival: a collectively curated festival that brings together the most progressive and transgressive Canadian and international performance works to Toronto Feb 1 – 18 at The Theatre Centre.”

We’re so there!
