Dance Immersion is getting ready for their big Canada 150 show and a work shop with Faizal Ddamba aka Mostrixx and they need a few volunteers,

Movement In Time

  • What: In celebration of Canada’s 150th, a showcase of prominent artists and companies of the African Diaspora
  • DateSaturday October 14, 2017
  • Location: Harbourfront Centre Theatre, 231 Queens Quay West
  • Showtimes: 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM | Running time: 90 minutes
  • Volunteer Role: Be the face of the organization at our Information Table by answering questions, hand out and collect surveys, and more.
  • Volunteer Shifts: 10:15 AM to 2:15 PM (Stories in Motion), 12:15 PM to 3:15 PM (Matinee Performance) AND/OR 7:15 PM to 10:15 PM (Evening Performance)

  • What: Presentation featuring Ugandan Afro-Fusion dance artist Faizal Ddamba aka Mostrixx alongside Toronto artists
  • Date: Saturday October 21, 2017
  • Location: Dancemakers Studio, Theatre Studio 313, 15 Case Goods Lane #301
  • Showtime: 8:00 PM | Running time: 90 minutes
  • Available Roles:
    • Front of House collect tickets, hand out programs and surveys, answer questions, and more OR
    • Production work behind the scenes, including set up (equipment, props, banners, signs, etc.) and take down following the end of the performance.
  • Volunteer Shifts: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Tech Rehearsal), 7:15 PM to 10:15 PM (Performance) and 9:15 PM to 1:15 AM (After-party, same location)
